School is starting soon. ><
This Summer passed really quickly. Nothing totally incredible happened, so there's not really any one point that defined it. Maybe in the next couple last weeks, things'll start getting a little more busy. Either way, I find ways to keep busy. Between Wilson and trying to read school stuff and thinking about college, I've been preoccupied.
Pennsylvania was way way too short of a trip. Next time, I'm definitely staying at least two weeks because a week and a half is not enough time to visit and relax. Seeing all the family was fun but rushed. Then Corpus was fun, but I couldn't stay as long as I should've because of a braces appointment and I got braces which suck a lot.
While in Corpus, we found a stray puppy, a pit bull puppy. He was as close to death as could be, and if we'd found him even a day or two later, he wouldn't have survived. That was in the middle of July. Right now he's in my backyard barking up a storm. He's big and healthy and mischevious as hell. I love looking at him knowing he has a good home at Steve's, and that he'll live a happy life, and I'll be able to see it.
It's one of those things that never grows old. Watching someone you helped and knowing that without you, he wouldn't've made it. While I really wanted to keep him, I'm glad the one who is keeping him lives on the same street as us. He's a sweet little rascal.
Everett is amazing. That boy supports me so much more than I could ask. He means the world to me, and he's honest and kind and patient. I honestly don't know how I got such a wonderful boy, especially since I'm so shy and he's so not. Like, at all. It's funny how many things we have in common, yet we also are complete opposites on some things. . But I guess that's how it is with everyone.
He makes me happy, and this Summer was marvelous enough because of him.
Senior year- let's all hope for the best. |
